Our film can be marketed by releasing it on several different forms of social networking site. This reaches a wider global audience as opposed to traditional marketing formats. We could enter our thriller film into a independent movie festival, much like the movie 'Kidnapped' did, which gained a large audience through this.
Chloe
A film distributor is responsible for the marketing and distribution/sales of a film. Film distributors are usually corporate organisations but can also be an individual. A film distribution organisation is responsible for how an audience sees the product.
A production company are the organisations that fund the film through gaining sponsorship from other organisations and donations from partner companies and other individuals. The production company is also responsible for the actual production of the film, e.g the filming and editing.
